    I think the best piece of advice I have received is the advice to turn my life and will over to the care of God and trust in Him.

  2. One of my favorite "advice" scriptures is: "Out of small things proceedeth that which is great." (D&C 64:33). It reminds me to be patient, that little things--whether it's a word at a time with a novel, or one paper at a time from a slush pile--will eventually lead to something "greater", like a finished book or a straightened house. :-)
