  1. Some of the best dating advice I have been given is to not be embarassed, whether about yourself or the guy who asks you on a date. It's something I've had to get over. Oh, and to be yourself while adding some flirtiness.

  2. The best advice I've been given is Bro Jo's claim that "Men and Women can't be just friends" because it gives insight into many elements of dating and helps me understand what I see.

  3. The best advice I've ever recieved is how to judge if a relationship is too serious. They gave me a hypothetical experience that goes something like this:
You're married, and in an elevator with your spouse. The door opens on a floor, and in walks...your ex-girlfriend/boyfriend. They recognize you, you recognize them. If you would be embarrased in this situation because of things you did with that ex, you should stop the relationship immediately.

  4. I think the best advice I've heard is to try and be the person of your dreams instead of trying to find the person of your dreams. That way you can learn to have fun with others, flirt a little and enjoy the dating experience without getting caught up in one relationship before you're ready just because you think it will last.

  5. My favorite dating advice is to let the guy be in charge. Most of the time I don't follow that advice, and then I regret it, and the date is a total flop. I learned this first from Brad Wilcox: Men are mighty hunters. Women should be lone zebras! :)

  6. The best dating advice I can remember is to focus on having fun. Whether you become serious with someone or not you should always put fun first. If you do that, then there will be tons less pressure and your dates should always be enjoyable for the both of you.

  7. The best advice that I was given was for my first date and it was given by Maths teacher. I remember I was very nervous and wasn't paying attention in the class. I was writing my to-do list for the date. For eg. what I should wear, how should I act and what topics we could talk about incase the conversation starts dwindling. My teacher caught my inattentiveness and called me out on it. I think I told her that this boy was the love of my life and that this date meant everything. The advice she gave me was..."Just be yourself. Dating is supposed to be fun and adventurous. Don't overwork it." Its the advice I follow to this day.
PS: I wish I had payed more attention in my maths classes.
PPS: That boy was so not the love of my life. :)
