  1. The message that I receive the most when reading the scriptures is that our Heavenly Father loves us and want's us to return to Him.

  2. The message that sticks out most in my mind is the message that we need to be willing to trust the savior. We need to be willing to put forth effort on our part to receive the full potential that the gospel offers us. God loves us and we need to be willing to let him in.

  3. The message that I always like every time I read the scriptures is that the gospel isn't just an accumulation of ideas from a bunch of people who are making things up in an attempt to gain something for themselves, everything has a reason and everything is a part of God's plan. Nothing just happens at random, God is always there to protect and to teach us. The idea of everything being in God's control makes me feel safer living in the world. The scriptures teach me that faith is all we need to make it back to Heavenly Father and that it's possible with His help.

  5. The BEST message I've received from the scriptures is that Jesus is the Christ. He lived and died so that we might be forgiven of our sins and return to live with God and with our families.

  6. I get from the scriptures that he's there to help me celebrate when things are good but he's always there to pick me up on the not so good days.
