Amy Martinsen



Amy Martinsen received a bachelor of arts in English education from Arizona State University, and a master of arts in English from Northern Arizona University. She wrote the LDS romance novel Changing Worlds (2015), and the humorous romance The Secret Obituary Writer, which was nominated for a 2016 Whitney Award. Listed as one of the Top Ten LDS Authors You Need to Read in 2017, Amy brings a variety of insights to her writing, including a marriage of over thirty years, raising five children, and serving in many Church leadership positions. In addition, Amy is the author of “The Tower of Babel and the Teaching of Grammar: Writing Instruction for a New Century,” published in the September 2000 English Journal, and the short story “Lilly’s Photograph” (Moose Enterprise, 2002).
