Betsy Chatlin graduated from Brigham Young University in teacher education, and from the University of Utah with a master’s degree in social work. For the past thirty-eight years, she has worked in various settings as a licensed clinical social worker.
With Meghan Decker, Betsy co-authored Reaching for Hope, a book about clinical depression in women. Betsy enjoys people, genealogy, teaching, art, ballet, traveling, cooking, and reading biographical and historical works. She and her husband raised three daughters. Betsy says she also raised three cats, which are easier! She currently resides in northern Utah.
