H. Wallace Goddard, Ph.D


In his writing, H. Wallace (Wally) Goddard, PH.D., uniquely combines scholarship, faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ, and sheer joy. He received his doctorate in family and human development and was as a professor of family life for the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension. In this position, Wally developed programs on well-being, marriage, and parenting. He has written numerous books for LDS, general, and professional audiences and has served on national committees on parenting and marriage. Wally has served in the LDS Church as a bishop, high councilor, and institute teacher. He describes his wife, Nancy, as the most peaceful and charitable parent he knows. Wally and Nancy have three adult children and a growing number of amazing grandchildren.
