"What is the craziest thing you and your friends have done?"
Ida Mae Babbitt has done her community service and is a reformed woman - no more law-breaking for her. But when Arlette's granddaughter Eden discovers a mystery in a fancy nursing home, Ida Mae - with the perfect excuse of a broken wrist and a broken ankle - checks herself into the place. After all, it is for the greater good. Soon she's buzzing around in her motorized wheelchair, questioning the residents and swiping files from the office. She's bound and determined to get to the bottom of this case. But can she solve the mystery before she becomes the next victim?
I would LOVE to win this book! The craziest thing I have ever done with my friends is steal a couch from DI and use it for a bonfire. It was fun but probably not the best idea!

I'd love to win this book as well. The craziest thing my friends and I have even done was spend several weekends hunting ghosts while we were in college in Bloomington, Indiana. We had heard rumors about several haunted houses and spooky graveyards spread across the county so we decided to visit them all--including the one where the broken light bulb continued to burn. I saw it with my very own eyes. The strangest thing though was that no matter which direction we headed, we somehow always ended up at Lake Lemon! (luannstaheli@gmail.com)
ReplyDeleteThis goes way back to my college days in the '60s. I was a student nurse. One of my classmates got a vial of methylene blue-a dye used in surgery (it turns urine green). We added it to some brownie batter and gave the finished brownies to some unsuspecting interns. We also made an Ex-lax pie and left it in the fridge for a food thief.
ReplyDeleteThe craziest things my friends and I ever did was hike Mount Timpanogos in the snow! tamara at byu dot net
ReplyDeleteThe craziest thing I have done with my friends (this year) is dress up with insane wigs. We went to dinner and played laser tag. I couldn't believe how many men laughed and how many women were outright disgusted with us.
ReplyDeleteone of crazyiest things would have to be standing up in a moving car and waving out of the sunroof at the people we passed going down the street!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this book. The craziest thing my friends and I ever did was have a pie throwing party in the cultural hall of the church. It started at our ward party, and several of us convinced our husbands to take part in the pie eating contest. They agreed, only if we would do the contest after them. We agreed, and then we went into the kitchen and hide forks in our pockets. Once the guys were done, we ladies sat down at the table, at the count of three we pulled out the forks and started eating. One of the guys told us we were cheating, and started pushing heads into the pie. My friends and I got up, grabbed pies and started shoving them into the mens' faces. It ended up with a pie fight. I even shoved a pie into the face of our friend, who happened to be a police officer. My husband couldn't believe that one. To top it off, our kids saw what we had done, and wondered why they had been sent outside to eat their pies. It was fun!!!! Yes, we helped clean up afterwards, and no one ended up in the Bishop's office.

An entire summer of toilet papering freshman year of high school. Not super crazy, but I'm not a very wild and crazy girl.
ReplyDeleteThis book sounds like so much fun! Would love to win a copy.
ReplyDeleteThe craziest thing I've ever done with friends is skateboard through the airport parking lots and garages...until security caught us. Granted I was 16, so cut me some slack!
Okay, so I have a crazy group of friends. And no way am I admitting in public all the crazy stuff we've done. But I will admit to one story that comes to mind.
ReplyDeleteWe were having a girl's weekend at a vacation house in Midway, in January, and decided we wanted to try out the community hot-tub, which was located about fifty-yards away. There was about a foot of snow on the ground, and the walks had not been plowed.
But we ran out--in our bathing suits and flip-flops--to give the tub a try. A few flip-flops disappeared in the snow, and I'm sure we were quite a sight, digging through the snow in our bathing suits at 10pm, looking for lost shoes.
But we made it. And it was SO fun. Yes, yes we are grownups. Mostly. I think.
We took turns riding in the trunk of an old Buick over some train tracks. I know...not so exciting.
ReplyDeleteWell I was on a trip to Kansas City with 3 of my friends. We had rented a hotel room for the night and for some reason decided we need to commemorate the event with 100 pictures. So headless of the late hour and the other guest we spent the night running and leaping on to the bed in true ninja fashion.

the craziest thing/most embarrassing moment I've ever done with my friends is when we went to the friend of my best friend brother, and when we are about to pay in the jeep(philippine vehicle), we forgot to compute how much should we give. And I only stared at them while they're doomed at thinking..(sorry gurls);))
ReplyDeletewe're planning to go to the mall and try clothes there and take pictures at the fitting room, sounds exciting;))

The craziest thing I ever did, was when we were visiting Phoenix one summer, after my family had moved away, some of our old friend's and my twin sister and I got together. We drove around and TP'd a house, then our driver drove like crazy trying to avoid capture by the cops. It was a very wild night! We laughed a whole lot and just had a blast. We were in a convertible car that belonged to our driver and it just made us feel so carefree.
ReplyDeleteRan off to Vegas one Saturday because we were bored. Okay, that wasn't the plan. We were heading to Mesquite, got picked up the Arizona Strip by a couple of guys driving a BMW, got in their car and continued to Vegas, went to Circus, Circus, tried to go to IMAX, couldn't get tickets and drove back to Mesquite to get our car.
ReplyDeleteWe also stood up our dates that night.
You're judging me, aren't you.

And none of you invited me to go with you? Sniffle ...
ReplyDeleteI snuck into an abandoned mental hospital in my town before they tore it down. I was in high school with 4 other friends. We took flashlights and examined every inch of that place. Very creepy. You wouldn't believe some of the things I saw, but I won't go into detail. Let's just say, I have a new understanding of them. It was a great bonding experience lol

How to pick just 1 crazy thing? One of the craziest was after watching The Blair Witch Project, my friend and I decided it would have been scarier with teletubbies so went to some of the darkest and creepiest places in our hometown and made our own version.
